History
DrishTi Community Wellness [DrishTi] was founded in 2012 by Nicole deViere. What started as a yoga studio has since blossomed to include Therapeutic Massage, awareness coaching and mentoring, events, community collaborations, and more. In June of 2023, Nicole will be offering yoga as private session or group events only.
Nicole was certified as a Registered Yoga Teacher [RYT] in 2012 with Vishali Varga who has decades of experience teaching yoga, yoga philosophy, and anatomy. To date, Nicole has accumulated thousands of hours teaching in the hatha and bhakti yoga traditions. She teaches in an alignment based form for healthy movement while celebrating our authentic selves.
In June of 2019, Nicole graduated from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and is practicing as an LMT. Nicole offers Therapeutic Massage services with an emphasis on customized healing for each individual. As a mama herself, she has a passion for pregnant bodies and postpartum nurturing.
Nicole is a spiritual teacher which comes through in all of the modalities offered at DrishTi, but most specifically in her life coaching practice. Nicole obtained a life coaching certification which provides the structure to implement her knowledge.
Nicole studied Ayurveda, a whole-body healing system with its roots in India, with K. Sonam Targee, an Ayurvedic, Herbal, and Nutritional Counselor, from 2015 - 2021. She sat in clinic with clients for over one thousand hours in the field of herbal training and treatment.
Nicole is passionate about sharing what she's learned with those who are looking for ways to align with the life enhancing qualities of a holistic lifestyle. The studio has expanded to include classes from other teachers with an aligned outlook in celebrating the self.
Other Contributing Teachers

Sarah Lamb, RYT
Sarah obtained her 500 hour Hatha Yoga certification from Prana Yoga college in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2005. Since then, she has accrued more than 3000 hours of training. The more training she has, the more of a beginner yogini she feels like. Yoga is her constant teacher. Sarah found yoga in 2000 after her sister, Rebecca died suddenly. It was then that Sarah found practices like restorative yoga to be deeply emotionally healing. For Sarah, yoga practice on the mat is only a smart part of yoga. The most advanced forms of yoga in her life are her relationships. She is a mom, a former therapist turned mental health coach, a self-help writer, tree lover, and a constant student of life. Her favorite forms of yoga are yin and restorative. Sarah has taught in the Rochester community, South Korea, New Mexico and now teaches yoga virtually for her co-workers who live all over the U.S. Sarah is excited to step back into in-person teaching after a several year hiatus.

Emma Yatteau, RYT
I have been practicing yoga for eight years and teaching for two.
I am trained in kids yoga, vinyasa and hatha and thoroughly enjoy practicing with and teaching others the profound art that is yoga. I am excited to offer what I know to our beautiful community here in Rochester and to be apart of DrishTi Yoga.
My intention is to create a space where we can learn together and facilitate the shift that yoga can provide on and off the mat. Thank you for giving me the space to be me and I hope you feel called to come be you, fully and authentically.
