Spiritual Spark [after-class]

Join us directly after the 5:30 - 6:45PM All Levels Yoga Class on Monday, 10/14

After Savasana, we will start up with extra meditation/contemplation time on the mat. Plan on an extra 20-30 minutes.

This has been a delight, here’s to continued sharing! This is considered to be an extension of the evenings class offered and is included.

Sound Bath with Sonam Targee

A sound bath nourishes and relaxes the nervous system. Brain-waves are gently slowed down into the Delta and Theta patterns that provide a space for deep healing in body, mind, and soul.

Participants are encouraged to recline [or sit] and let the sounds wash over them. You can go as deep as you like in a sound bath; lay back and simply enjoy some peace and quiet or perhaps be taken away to "another place."

Sonam uses instruments such as the didgeridoo, jaw harp, bamboo flute, gongs, shakers, singing bowls, rain-stick, recorders, dulcimer, Native American love flute, quena, and of course the voice.

Props are included and seats are set up for your comfort ahead of time [mat, blankets, bolster]. Please let us know ahead of time for any special accommodations.

Yoga & Addiction

We will engage in an All Levels Yoga Class; you don’t have to have any experience at all with yoga.

What to expect: Besides the yoga, we will interact through a contemplation in the beginning of the session and thoughts afterwards. This is intended to be a group and individual healing and support community. 

Wear comfortable clothing as we will be moving. All props are available at the studio, but if you have a yoga mat, feel free to bring it. We meet once a month [dates announced beforehand] and you are welcome to join at anytime. 

A little bit about me: My name is Nicole deViere and I own and operate Yoga DrishTi. I have been alcohol free for 4 years. My yoga practice helped me through the transition and continues to guide and support me. I would love to share this gift of celebrating self with you!

Being in a recovery program is not required to attend, but this is a session for those dealing with addiction. If this is something you have been thinking about, but not knowing where to start, then come along; the process starts with courage. Recovery from any addiction is welcome.


Ecstatic Dance [with Live Music]

Expand your senses and connect with your higher self through free-form dance with live music that includes tribal rhythms and uplifting melodies performed by Sonam Targee and friends.


Ecstatic dance is a talk free, judgement free event where participants express themselves through intuitive movement individually, with partners, or in a group. Creativity abounds! Embody what you feel and hear with music as your guide in this healing arts practice. No prior experience needed.


The session will start with a 20 minute introduction and warm-up and end with a 25 minute meditation and mini-sound bath.


This is a drug and alcohol free event. Water will be provided.




Ecstatic Dance Guidelines

  • No talking on the dance floor

  • Move however you wish while being respectful of others*

  • Refrain from from taking photos/video and wearing strong scents

  • Take your shoes off at the door (if footwear is required, indoor-only or dance shoes will be permitted)

  • Maintain a judgement free environment


*Many people prefer to dance on their own while others want to dance with somebody or in a group. To engage in a dance with someone, non-verbally ask for consent; make eye contact, mirror movements, or offer a hand to see and feel how they respond. To let someone know you prefer to dance solo, you may shake your head no. To end a dance with someone, you may silently thank them by placing your hands in prayer formation at your heart, which means,  “Namaste...thank you. My spirit recognizes yours.” You may also dance away.

First Friday Kirtan

Sing, dance, or meditate in joy. The Sanskrit word Kirtan means praising, as in praising the many names of God. In traditional Kirtan, the audience gets to sing along and no memorization is required. It's all done in a call-and-response style. You are encouraged to express love for the Divine in all its forms while chanting, and perhaps even dancing in the back of the room! All are welcome.
